Give Food

Help food-insecure families in Dickson County by donating food to the DCHC Food Pantry.

Current research shows 13.6% of those in our county are food insecure. Food insecurity refers to the USDA’s measure of a lack of access, at times, to enough food and limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate foods.

Last year, DCHC provided food for 1,636 families (over 3,903 individuals) over 3,460 times. Plus, we deliver food to 80 elderly shut-ins monthly throughout Dickson County. Many of the families we feed receive little to no food stamps.

If you’d like to give food, there are many ways you can. Food may be brought to our Donation Center or to collection bins at Kroger locations in Dickson.

If you would like to host your own food drive, call 615.441.0076 or email us. We are happy to provide a few donation barrels if available.
