The Dickson County Help Center is committed to its mission of offering hope by providing essential aid to those in need in our community.
The Dickson County Help Center is a non-profit, public corporation chartered for the purpose of providing aid in the form of food, clothing, prescribed medication, temporary shelter and limited financial assistance to the citizens of Dickson County on an emergency basis.
Individuals provided food assistance through our Food Bank, across 2,015 Families.
Families received financial assistance, through rent/mortgage assistance, utility assistance, or temporary lodging.
Families received Thanksgiving Turkeys along with traditional holiday meal items.
Children received brand new toys at our Annual Christmas Store Toy Giveaway.
Our Food Pantry offers perishable and non-perishable food to qualifying families, allowing them to stretch their dollars and spend resources on other basic needs.
When a family or individual is in a financial crisis, we can reasonably meet their need through partnerships with our area’s property managers, utility companies, and other friends in the community.
In addition to providing great deals for our shoppers, our Thrift Store provides a dignifying means of relieving the financial burden of specific clothing and household items for our neighbors in need.
Join our growing community of volunteers, dedicated to making a difference. Your time and skills can help us provide essential support to those in need in Dickson County.
Your donation to our general fund supports our assistance program and the ongoing mission of the Dickson County Help Center to make a lasting impact in our community.
By supporting one of our programs, such as the Turkey Giveaway, Give 'N Gobble 5K, Backpack Food Program, Christmas Store, and Emergency Disaster Recovery, your donation can make an immediate difference to our neighbors. Each program targets specific challenges, providing direct and impactful support to those in need.
Consider contributing as little or as much as you can. Every dollar you donate helps provide food and utilities to men, women, and children in our community.
